What does the muse look like for you?

You. Hi. So this is my first swell cast, and I'm going to first introduce myself. I'm a poet, fiction writer, blog writer, visual artist, but poet primarily. And the first time I did a reel over on my Instagram, I had a man come into my DMs, and he was so incredibly nice, and he was saying, your poetry is so powerful. How do you get your inspiration? And I just answered, very flippantly

#poetry #creativity #creativewriting #poet #artist #creativeprocess

But I think it's that moment after hours of practice, consistency, days of practice where maybe it feels like not inspiring or stale or whatever, suddenly feeling getting an idea sort of magically and then feeling like I have all the tools to bring it to life. So the muse is sort of like being open to opportunity and inspiration, but also, um, having put in the hours and put in the hard work so that I can bring it to life
