Or when someone I see that's my age, who has already accomplished so much or being in so many places and experience so many things, I can't help but feel like time is falling from my hands like sand and I'm not getting better or going anywhere. I grew up watching movies and reading stories that made me believe that life was supposed to be constantly exciting and I haven't felt that way many times and I just feel so stuck being myself

And you are right when you say that a lot of the media we consume today has taught us that life is boring if there are not many excitements in store day after day. And we have sort of primed to expect these kind of excitement in the shape of growth, success. Right. Fun, enjoyment, entertainment, and so on. But life is not that. I think life is in the many small moments that come together
