@KavyaNagarajan

Actually, Kavya, parenting is about an art, whereas a sculpture makes a sculpture. Likewise the parents or the person who mold the character, attitude and behavior of a child. It's all about giving a good human being into the society. So parents are the most important people in the lives of young children

@ANNAPOORANI

Yeah, definitely. So what are the effects of parenting on personality development of a child, especially during the adolescence age? Actually, in this world of new media, it's an important question. Right?

@KavyaNagarajan

Yes, of course. It is the right question. Parents teach by instruction, by knowledge and skills they impart, they instill learning. Parents inform by selfdisclosure, by personal history they share that they give lessons from their own life experience. Not only that, a parent should give freedom as well as reasonable restrictions in the path of their life. In this age of new media we should keep our eyes on their kids and instrument them on how to use properly

@ANNAPOORANI

Yeah, of course. So now I need to ask you that whether our parents are protective or conjoined, can you differentiate between these two things?

@KavyaNagarajan

To be frank that they are often controlling in the aim of protecting in my life I personally wish to study journalism whereas my parents told me to take Masters in English and step in to be to become an English teacher if they consider it as a safest job out for a girl

@ANNAPOORANI

Yeah, of course, Anapony. Many of the times our parents will be controlling us in the name of protecting its truth. So what are the things your parents did and that you will never do to your kids? Is there anything so
@ANNAPOORANI

@KavyaNagarajan

Yeah, same thing. I wish not to be a controlling parent, but definitely to be a productive one as like every parent. And the major thing is that we should give suggestions to our kids not to take decision and to make them capable to do their own work properly from the early stage itself. So these are the things where I am going to follow as I lacks it now
