Has Anyone Gotten Their Debit/Credit Card Info Stolen Before??

And I have to call them again tomorrow, and it's just, like a big hassle, and I have no access to any of my money now, so my roommates are, like, spotting me for groceries and stuff, and I'm going to pay them back after I get my card. But I don't know. It's just, like, super annoying. And I've never had that happen before, so I don't know. I just wanted to rant about it a little bit

Absolutely. I have gotten my debit card information stolen. I remember, like, one time I looked at my bank statement and someone had, like, withdrawn $500 out of my account, but in, like, 25 and $25 chunks, like, cash back, but like, ten times in a row or something. Yeah, they did it, like over two days

And so if you ever need access to your money, a good workaround is to go to PayPal and send money to a friend of yours so that they can then pull out cash to give you when your debit card is canceled. It doesn't affect the bank account itself, it just affects the card that's attached to those numbers. I actually did this very recently with my brother who was having some issues with his card because of similar theft in La. It happens very frequently
