"And I shall have some peace there"

These days I'm a grown up and I choose my vacations, and I still really like to get outside. But I also enjoy going to places overseas where I'm a foreigner. I love being a foreigner. And so I've been thinking just about how we make our escapes and how we get our rest. Of course, I get my rest in poetry, and that's something I can do anytime

Where is your escape place?

You. Hello, Katharine. Thank you for sharing that beautiful poem and also narrating about your experiences from the childhood. And for me, I think, a favorite. I don't particularly have a favorite vacation spot because I've never really related to a particular spot and associated with vacations. When we were growing up, I lived in another country. So during the summer vacations, we'd come back to our hometown, and vacation meant spending time with my grandparents. And that was lovely

Thank you, Nathan. Many of the times that my parents threw us into the back of the Travel all in our pajamas, we were headed to see my grandparents. So I have sweet memories of that as well. And it is lovely to see you in a jacket
