Why are poets always writing about art?
At the conference where I was hanging out with a bunch of poets, many of whom I know well, there were some really excellent presentations on ecfractic poetry, one by my friends Paul Hetherington and Cassandra Atherton and some others as well. And it really struck me, as I was sitting there, having saturated myself in art, that poets just love to write about art. And that's what an ecfastric poem is, of course.
