I can't help but ask in my mind, what's the motive behind someone saying that now? Is it true that if you regretted something and you had the ability to go back and change something, that other parts of your life could be different, and you don't want those parts to be different? Therefore you don't regret the bad decisions you made in the past? I guess so. But it seems very circular and very, I don't know, convoluted
I mean, the process in itself of transmuting those things has really taught me more about grace and forgiveness for myself. So I think when it comes down to it, the word regret, we have to figure out or ask what the other person means by it and the timeline and where they're standing in relation to the event that they're referring to. Have they processed it? Have they come out the other side of it? Have they not?
