What are your experiences with alternative medicines/therapies?

And also if there's any practitioners out there, I would love to hear your knowledge. And also, I guess why you chose to practice, chose the medicine that you are in currently. But yeah, those are a bunch of questions, but I would just love to hear any knowledge and wisdom you guys have. Thank you. Oh, and I should mention I am asking for general health maintenance. I don't have any specific issues that I would want to address. I do feel pretty healthy

I guess just because she's found that it's really worked for her and I just thought that was really interesting and I didn't really follow up just because she asked me one time, she was like, do you want acupuncture? And I was like, no, I'm okay. Because I was pretty young at that point and I still had that image of PO from Panda like twitching out when he undergoes that final needle from I think it was mantis

My experience with accupuncture

If you talk to people that have gone into acupuncture for a reason, it was their last kind of ditch effort. They all have this story about how it saved them from surgery or save them from something. And I add my story to that as well, because I don't know what I would have done had that acupuncture not been there for me. And it's not to say that it was magical. It wasn't like a turning a switch and saying, okay, now I have no pain

So I use both chiropractors and acupuncturists and I find them both very useful. I use chiropractors whenever I have a back issue because mine is a slip disc and they are able to fix bones related issues very well. So anything to do with my slip disc, I go to a chiropractor and then I have a shoulder compression issue, which is more like a muscular nerve issue, and for that I go to an acupuncturist who is able to relieve the pain very well. So I swear by both these

Hey there, happy Friday. I wanted to go ahead and reply thank you for inviting me to this amazing topic. As far as alternative medicine that I tried and that I do love is acupuncture. And believe it or not, my chiropractor actually recommended I go back to my acupuncture. I've always had lower back issues, so that was something that he had said to do every other week. And I just started going back in January, and I have now moved to Dominican Republic

@jsmwang Holistic Approach

My son had chronic night terrors when he was about four and a half and homeopathy managed Tom cure that naturopathy has helped me with allergies, finding out what I was allergic to and also getting rid of parasites, microscopic parasites. Obviously I've picked up in Asia and they found that out by using iredology looking in my eyes and got rid of those, did a massive detox. I was chronically ill about twelve years ago
