You. Greetings swell family. Well, I am here with another poem that I'm going to share from my book since we are still celebrating National Poetry Month, and this piece is called Sisterhood. It was written specifically for a group of women called Sisters in my village and I'm excited to share this one with you. I hope it resonates with some of our sisters who are listening this evening

I haven't wrote a book since I was like in fifth or 6th grade, and so it's been about 30 years. But this is God's gift of space and time, and I'm utilizing it. So thank you. I'll stay tuned
It's about being able to come together and celebrate what other people are doing in their lives. I find a lot of times that women will be judgmental about one another, seeing the struggles that a woman's going through and kind of make a determination that something said or articulating something that's kind of negative. But we've got to not focus on negative things. We need to focus on positive things. We need to be encouraging and uplifting other sisters as we make this journey

It's. Good evening to you. I wanted to send back a reply just because I'm here and relaxing and I listen to that all the way through and I definitely gain some power, some empowerment as well. And it's just good to have reciprocating conversation even if it's just that those things are huge to me. There's a high lack of that in my life as of now. But it is okay because we have this platform. God is good
I pray that you will not allow those things that have tried to hold you back and hold you down. That you will release those things and that they will be things that won't be held onto, but will launch you forward. I pray that you will recognize that God has the power to make your enemies your footstools and that you will continue to climb up and rise above any circumstances that have tried to bring you down.
