I was a physician assistant, but we didn't learn the specifics of all the different types of breast cancer and the processes needed to get through them previously to being diagnosed. I had medium length, dark brown dyed hair. My hairstylist suggested I get my hair cut short before beginning my chemo treatments, as one of her other clients had done, and it made the process of losing it a bit easier. My hairstylist and friend Lisa was terrific
