Sound and Color on the Casio SK-1: Boards of Canada, memory and poetry
It was the famous Casio SK one, which some bands actually still use in a more ironic sense as a toy instrument. And so I got this probably when I was eight or nine and it would allow you to sample. So it had a sampling Mike. You could mix that in. There was a host of sounds and sound effects and backgrounds and treatments, and I think that really influenced the way that I understood electronic music as it evolved while I grew up
