Canada bans foreign investors from buying homes.

San Francisco has often looked to our neighbor to the north for guidance on housing speculation, and San Francisco followed Vancouver's lead by imposing a tax on investor owned vacant homes just the this past November. So could an outright ban on investor owned homes beyond the carts for San Jimsanfrancisco? It's unlikely, but stay tuned. You never know what the Board of Supervisors in San Francisco may put on the table

Hi, Jim. Super interesting stuff. I got a buddy out in San Francisco who keeps me a little bit posted about what's going on there, housing wise, but definitely not in as much detail as you. So I really appreciate your perspective. I had two questions. If it's not likely that San Francisco kind of follows Canada's lead, what do you think is likely? What do you think what moves will happen? And my second question is, what would you like to see happen?

And I'm not talking about the ability to buy a house another of the country. I'm not saying let's take that away, but I'm saying the ability to buy homes in excess quantity in other countries. There need to be some parameters on that. So kudos to Canada. And kudos what was it, Sacramento that said, okay, we're going to try to get a handle on this so that we can make home ownership a realization, a reality for people?
