Ruth Paine : one of the last surviving Warren Commission witnesses.
There were 559 questions that were posed to her and it ran for 180 pages. The commission's final report as of September 24, 1964 held that Lee Harvey Oswald was the sole assassin and that there was no conspiracy subsequently. Ruth was also questioned by New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison in his investigation of the JFK assassination. And she was also a witness at the 1969 conspiracy trial of Clay Shaw. The Garrison investigation and trial was fictionalized by Oliver Stone in the 1999 film JFK
