San Francisco has a Vacancy Crisis.

But the story that has not been told is the fact that 61,000 apartments, condos and houses in San Francisco remain vacant. Their owners are not putting them on the market to rent. So with our population of 4000 homeless versus 61,000 vacant apartments, condos and houses, there are potentially 15 vacant units for every single homeless person in San Jimsanfrancisco. That's an astonishing number that we have 61,000 vacant units, yet 4000 homeless people

I love it more than London, UK and New York, new York, London, Los Angeles, that just don't have that kind of warm homely feeling that San Francisco has. So you're right, city hall should do something about these 4000 people. Now, you cannot make private homeowners. You cannot force them to rent their housing. And I suppose you have 61,000 vacant houses because rent is very high in San Francisco. San Francisco is one of the most expensive cities in the world

@avichand

We have so many tough problems in San Francisco that our political leadership appears to ignore or throw their hands up and say we can't solve them. In any case, I want to thank you for your response, and I will keep talking about this issue until we have some kind of response. And thanks very much for listening. Bye for now
