"Just" stop saying tbis one word

article image placeholderUploaded by @Jenny_Ward
So something I love to do with the people I work with, my clients, is challenge them for one week to be wildly aware of whether or not this seemingly innocent little work career into their vocabulary, and if it does, how they can stop using it. So I'm wondering if you're listening to this, is that a word that you find yourself guilty of using? And if so, why do you think it creeps up?

Yeah, this is such a good point. I feel like I use it, especially when I'm trying to minimize myself, trying to be. Trying not to bother anybody or. Yeah, I feel like I'm already apologizing for something in advance. It's good to keep in mind. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you for sharing this

To your point, just making ourselves a little bit smaller, taking up a little bit less space, minimizing ourselves to not appear burdensome. So I would be interested, maybe if you check back in a week and let me know how many times that word has tried to creep up and you've been able to catch it

I couldn't tell you why I use it. I have no idea why I rely on the word. Just so often. I would almost say, for me, it's more than anything and an aesthetically pleasing word to look at, but I use it a lot. And in the last week or two that I have been very mindful of using that word, I have actually almost completely eliminated that word from a lot of the things I've written
