Why is it called practicing medicine and no other profession is?
We look for well, then I want a free meal next time I come because you put butter on my potato. I know I'm being pretty simple here, but that's what we do. Everyone else is getting paid to do a position and getting paid to perform their duties. But for some reason, doctors, especially doctors, they're practicing medicine. I'm not for sure if the nurse gets that same kind of grace, I'm practicing to be a nurse

And especially if that Doctor Such and Such graduated from an Ivy League school or did their residency at some world renowned program facility, which is why the claims and risk management department of the hospital and health systems around the world work so hard, because they are issuing and paying out claims daily. Trust me. Now, I do the hashtag practicing law because lawyers also have the degree of forgiveness. And practicing law, again, because it's a lot of information out there. The law books are thick

But I guess in the sense that most people think of it as something that is not real, it's like a different demo run and that's just not the same thing in the medical field. Hopefully this helps

I see so many people get frustrated at the 17 or 18 year old kid at the fast food restaurant messing up their order, and they get very upset. But when the doctor goes, yeah, it looks like that prescription is not going to work, let's try another one, they go, okay, yeah, no problem

Not everything is perfect and that doesn't exclude doctors or people that work in the medical profession. So I think that's great that if everyone can get grasps on that and understand that it's our job to take care of our own health, it's no one else's job. Doctors, nurses, other people can help guide in your path to a successful health, but they can't do it for you
