S and early ninety s I started writing songs which initially helped me in music. My tremendous experience ignited my passion towards writing songs and then poetries both in English as well as Hindi. My poetries are mainly being inspired. By the spectrum of human emotions. I am happy to be portraying my writings, my thoughts as a voice of a common man. And this went from very beginning till now. I've been doing that only I love writing for anything for any social cause

Well, indeed, poetry and literature, for that matter, has always been a mirror to the society, to culture, to whatever has been happening around. And indeed, one needs to put all of this down in words, especially people who have a poetic soul or the writer's soul who need to somehow put into words whatever they are feeling, whatever they are seeing, somehow to sort of make peace with their emotions and their thoughts

Questionn....

So I have a question. Like you explained that you worked really hard and you followed your passion but it is not prevalent among the youth because we have very much diverse passions and these days fields demand diverse skills. And I just have this question that what hardships and what made you follow your passion, keeping ignited to it? And even how you ensure that your skills are diverse so that you become successful?

So what I did, his songs, the notations were done, the musical notations and everything was scripted done. And then I approached JEC for this book. This book, if you ask me, this is something like small children's songs and rhymes book basically meant for pre primary children. The book features ten children's songs with its lyrics in Hindi as well as English. And most importantly, the notations for the songs are also in this book

And again I stood on my feet. And again I struggled with that music thing. Once again I stood up and once again I did. But never ever took help from my father. Never ever. He also helped me. So hats off to my father. And whatever I am today, it's purely because of my own struggles. Whatever I did, whatever I didn't do, that was my mist sake. So this is what then music line. Gradually I came to teaching line after music

Sir, regarding this, I have a question. How do you think poetry is accepted and used or how has it impacted this generation, this generation of phones, generation of computers? What do you think? How has it impacted your poetry and how has it impacted the people who read your poetry?

So somewhere the emotions, it's going poetry yes, as we know, that is true of full of emotions now in poetry is experience also emotions comes from experience the sad, the happiness, the love, the true meaning of love. Now what I have seen in some youngsters, they write poems to impress their partners or their friends. So these things are nowadays not all, but yes, in some poets, young poets I have seen these things in young poets

And the other question I had was which genre of poetry you find the hardest to write about and have you ever written in that? How do you deal with it? I think the second question is something thing that I would also like to know, I'm really curious about because there are a lot of genres or themes or types of poems that I struggle with but I still end up doing for competitions or anthologies or one or the other reason

You. That's a beautiful and really heartwarming story behind the publication of Augai. And indeed, it must hold so much sentimental value for you as well. And yes, I'm sure that's along with the notations that definitely makes it so much easier to sing the songs. Those are children's songs. I myself would love to check out that book. So, like you mentioned that you have been involved with music since a young age

Question..

But how do you think that there should be a consistency and how you would always maintain it and how you can balance that being a teacher, music teacher, then writing poetries. And so how do you feel the difference? Like what do you think is the most essential preference that you have to give in balancing that? Thank you so much, sir

You. Hello sir. Good evening. I am Kadambari Gupta and I am very happy to know that you have written this book and that too about music. So that is a very very good thing because people write generally on a topic or there is a story but on a music I think that's a very very good thing. And the best thing is that it has illustration, you know, colorful covers

Whatever thoughts come in my mind, I just pen down. I never ever think I cannot write in this. And I can write in this. This is my favorite. This is not my favorite. I never ever think whatever thoughts comes to my mind, I bend it down. And if any competition comes, anything comes in front of me to write any topic. I really sit down and write in both the languages whether English or Hindi

Hello sir. My question to you is did you ever suffer from the author block or a problem or a situation wherein you thought that you wouldn't get sufficient ideas to go towards your next project? And can you please outline as to how we can overcome this problem if we are ever in that situation? It can be related, anything maybe from writing a book since you are an author and even in case of music as well, I would want like dual feedback regarding the same

And I think that one doesn't understand and I tend to at times doubt my own potential as a poet, as a writer. I feel that should I stop writing? What wrong where I am going? And at times and the criticism is not also constructive. It's mostly negative and demotivating. So how to deal with it, sir? Please tell me. And I think that is very very important for us to how to deal with this problem that one faces

And till now people know me as I am music besides music, everything I am so punctual. Wherever I have to reach around 10:00, I reach by quarter to ten. So this is something I have taken from him music, obviously music I have taken from him the basics of music, whatever basics, because basics are same, whether Indian or Western I have taken from him

So what I feel that when we are unable to produce new work or we have a creative slowdown, I'll say we experience this block. Sometimes poets, they don't get proper words or expressions to write, they struggle. Yes, what I feel many times it has happened with me also just before sleep. Or maybe I get awake with some thoughts, a good line. I make it a point to get up and write it down before going to sleep again. So I write about my experience

And maybe, I don't know, this might be a downgrade for you, considering you have worked with such huge musicians. What is your thought on this? Where did you find the courage and where did you find the resolution that you will be doing this and it is all going to be worth it in the end? Where was the motivation and inspiration from? Thank you very much

But what I feel that earlier also I mentioned that young people nowadays I have seen generation this was not there before. But nowadays most of the generation now they try to come to this field. They don't have that talent. They don't have that just for the heck of it. They try to come. And their main motive is only this. So firstly, yes, we have to select our audience

Music holds this power, this grip on us, I believe. So every writer, I think, at some point of their life, has experienced writer's block. So I wanted to ask you, have you ever experienced writer's block? And if you have, or if that's something that you encounter quite often, how do you deal with it? What is your process of getting over a writer's block and start writing once again?

Just because my father was a very well known person. So that was also one of the reasons they wanted to put me down. So I have seen so many not able to cope up with life and got disheartened. But again I used to tell myself fight it out, man, come out of it. So I used to do whatever I used to feel is good for me

I keep talking to the young generation, they keep asking me about this. So my thing is write about anything. Your inspiration, your motivation, your zeal, your happiness, frustration, sadness. You know, keep writing. The main thing is you have to keep writing just to avoid this. So that that block should never come into you. Thank you so much, Shanji
@Aishani

But I think at the crux of it all is this that you try to take inspiration from whatever is happening around you, happening with you, whatever you're seeing around, and you just start jotting down words on pages and then it takes shape. Like I said, it's a beautiful way of dealing with writer's block. And with this, we come to the last question of this session of this segment of today from me

You. Thank you so much, sadhra Abiaji, for your kind words. Yes, what I feel content writing and poetry, though they are differ, but somewhere they are similar also a person who wants to inculcate poetry from content writing my advice to them is the poetry is gift as well as skill also. So you have to inculcate certain things like expressing your feelings in poetic forms, in rhyming, in meter, continuing that creativity. And what do I say?

Hi, Ashley. Hi, Sami. Sir. Thank you so much for your spell. This is such a refreshing swell to hear. Sami sir, my question for you would be that I personally, when I write and when my writing style becomes too monotonous, I kind of become underconfident about my writing. And I don't really like what I write. It happens to me a lot of times when I write my blogs or my newsletter. But it does happen very often

But, sir, I have a question that both the fields that you have chosen to make your career, that is music or it is poetry, both of them are very artistic and distinct forms because these careers actually require a lot of ingredients like perseverance, determination, dedication and most importantly, patience. In all these fields, success doesn't come very easily. You have to be very patient, you have to keep writing and you have to understand the nature of your audience as well

We're not able to write, maybe because of troubled mind or situations around us, or just a puzzle state of mind where we cannot be at peace. How do you cope up with this time? I really like to know your experiences, if you have had any, with a writer's block where you have really wanted to get out of it but were still not able to, and then how you finally got out of it. Thank you

Like for the youth, I mean, the youth nowadays, the ones who are in their twenty s or something, trying to follow up their passion in writing or any other field like that, or as an artist or something, but they may or may not sometimes feel lost or like sometimes your passion doesn't pay you off as much as you want. Right?

But yes, I enjoy my writing. I'm never ever negative about my own writings. Okay? So people don't like, that's their problem. But I like my writing. Number one I always think that you should love yourself. You should love your own writing. And if you feel that it is becoming boring or monotonous, same thoughts are coming again and again. So please change your style of writing. Try to give yourself a task. Maybe two liners, four liners, a passage

If you want to reach there, the ultimate goal, there is no shortcut. It takes time, step by step. Then only you have to climb step number 1234 and then you reach there. Don't just try to from step number one to step number five or straight away to top, you cannot you'll fall, if not today, then tomorrow. This is what I feel. And yes, today's youth, they want to achieve everything without giving everything

Whether you are making some dark painting. So you need dark colored paints or you vibrant colors or all the colors are important to painter. Same way, I feel that for a writer, all the emotions are really really important. So, whatever life gives us and rather I'll tell myself whatever life has given me happiness or sadness, they help me tremendously to write. I pen down all my emotions. Writing doesn't become a block for me. Rather, it becomes an outlet

You. Thank you so much for asking this question. Yeah. Let me begin with it's very unfortunate that in India for the first the most important thing for any person, especially in twenty s and is you have to make your career writing and all we feel that it's something it's a hobby. It's second thing what you should think about the main thing, what your parents and everyone tells you. First, you have to be serious about your future, about your sameer
