Hello. My name is Lakshita Kapoor. The plot of the story Serbs by Shoti Shamanji is on friendship and mystery, which seems quite interesting, mostly because friendships and books often involve a diverse group of characters with unique personalities, backgrounds and skills. These friendships often create a dynamic and relatable cast that the readers connect with and become emotionally invested in their journeys. So my question to Shruti is that did you draw inspiration from any real life friendships while creating the relationships in your book?

@lakshitaaa01

You will be able to see that how people throughout the ages that they grow have different types of friendship in each age that they're growing, and how lucky it is to have some friends that are quite from your beginning of the years and as you grow up. So, yeah, these friendships, like I said, are very dynamic. You will be able to see the social influence that is how their families impact these friendships and how situations around them, how growing up actually impacts their friendship

And from there I started writing down whatever that has come to my mind and slowly it started like with Sculpt it started becoming better and then I started blogging where I posted my poems and slowly I realized that I have more to tell than small stories. So then I wanted to write books. I also had this dream to see one or more of my books, of course in my shelf along with other books that I read. So with all these interests put together, I started writing

Hello shrutimam sweetheart as it was amazing to heard about your book Serbs as it deals with the background of friendship and at the same time with mystery. So I would like to hear more about the main plot of the book and and would like to tell that how you can think about mystery and friendship at the same plot. And I would like to know about the idea, like how you get that unique idea to portray it in your book and how you got inspired of having a title. Serb

So how these cases are interrelated, how these stories are interrelated, and how urgent's case comes as a turning point for the Bureau and can the Bureau come back and can it come back to the functional state that it was in? And all this we're going to look along with the emotions that are actually deep down, because the Bureau is a very ambitious project of these friends and how each one is dealing with what they're going through

So, okay, moving to the further question, what I would like to ask is, since your book name is Serbs, S-A-R-B-S so what does it mean, and what is the significance of your book's title from the perspective of your book and the characters?

Okay, so SARBs, S-A-R-B-S. It is an acronym for the bureau's name. The bureau is named by the Friends, like who are the main characters of my story. Sharma, Keisha and Avantika. It is their childhood project. Like I said, it's a childhood dream ambition to pursue. So to start a bureau of their own. Own. Now they have named it from childlike stage of life. And I want people to read and know what the acronym is

Hello. Okay, that sounds quite interesting. And I would say the way you have described the plot and the significance behind it without giving the spoilers is something that will intrigue the readers to actually pick up the book and read till the entire the last page of the book. So since your novel has characters right?

So from that to coming back to the bureau and how he works on himself and like I said, he's a very progressive character towards the end. So that is what I like about Sarah. And he's a very sensible, emotionally upright person since. So I think I like Shauria the most

Hello, mom. A very good evening to you. And I would like to ask you, do you think how do you think writing enhances one? And, like, how do you perceive friendship? Like, is friendship something? Is it something about give and take? Does it not last? And what do you think friendships are made of? What is the essence of friendships? And why do you think some friendships, you know, lasts of a life?

And the paper starts listening, and you will feel more secure as such to actually express your feelings, your emotions, and whatever you want to express in the form of writing. So it's a very safe space and coming to friendships, I think any relationship, be it friendship or any commitment or any love, any bond between two or more people, be it even between your mom and you, my mom and me, or my dad and me, or any two people

But when we talk about the technicalities of writing a book editing formatting, proofreading, drafts and then the drafts are again edited and the final compilation of manuscript is done. So what was the process from point A to point Z? And how was your experience while writing your entire book? So, yeah, like, if you could share some glimpses on it. And how did publishing a book changed your life?

You. So when it comes to technicalities of publishing, yes, it has been difficult in the initial, like I said, I wrote the book for three years. So as soon as I finished writing, probably it was the first, I wrote my book in one year and the rest two years took for publishing the book. So it has become really difficult to trust a publishing house or it has become very difficult to share your manuscript with any sort of house or such

And their mindset will change for the emotions, the relations while talking to another person or on the personality basis? So what is that one core message that you want readers should take back with your book and the impact that your book will be creating on the readers?

By the way, when it comes to what impact it creates, I'm hoping that they'll be thrilled throughout the journey and as they get to know what is happening next and they wait for it. So that is what I want to give and like I said, it has a lot of realistic relatability. I want my readers to relate and say yeah, this happens with me also kind of thing. And the emotions are very real

I would say to continue the book and feel the emotions, feel the plot and the aura around while reading the book. So firstly, thank you so much for being such a wonderful guest and before I end up the last question, I would like to wish you congratulations once again for your books Sruthi Serbs and definitely it will be a great success and best wishes for the future end of yours. So before we end up the conversation, there is one last question for you
@Sruthi_Somanchi
Sruthi Somanchi
@Sruthi_Somanchi · 1:35

@authorsonali

So when it comes to life mantra as such or life principle as such, I think I believe that there's no good or bad, very strong good or bad situation to happen because whatever happens, life just recoils from there. What I believe in is we always want the positive outcome to happen but we have to really be strong to see what is the best. So always what we think is positive might not turn out the best

@Sruthi_Somanchi

Hello, Shriti. Congratulations on publishing your book, and I hope you only go forward from here. Now, my question to you is about inspiration. I am a writer myself, and I believe the inspiration to me generally comes from things around me. For example, sometimes nature, sometimes an event that happened in my life because I feel like writing expresses my thoughts the most beautifully and most appropriately. So, yeah, writing does that for me

Like whenever we are experiencing something and somebody says something, I see something and maybe one thought leads to another and I start penning it down, like I said, because I'm used to it used to penning every single or most of the thoughts that I got. Now I think I got a good hang on enjoying writing as such. So that is how I inspire from every single thing that is happening

You. Hi, Kadam Brigo. Thank you so much for your question. And as far as I understood, you're trying to ask me what makes somebody push or rather insist their opinions on their friend and make it a little difficult for the friendship to sustain. That is what I understood from what you're asking. And when it comes to asking friendship and all, I think it is individual human beings that it depends on the relationships, the dynamic of the relationships as such
