Encounters in our darkest moments

article image placeholderUploaded by @jeannelouise
You. Today's topic is encounters in our darkest moments. So I think all of us qualify having had a lot of those moments in our lives. One of those that I can recall was having a sports injury on my neck and when I was told that I may have cracked one of my. My neck vertebra. And, yes, so when that happened to me, I was faced with the reality that I may not walk again. And this happened when I was 16 years old

@jeannelouise My humble and jumbled reaction...

So not later than yesterday came across a guy I had spent quite a lot of time with, and for any reason, he barely exchanged a look with me. So I don't know if he knew about my father's death, but I am quite sure he knew and there was no compassion whatsoever about it. So this was disappointing. I hope you managed well and came to terms with it. And I wonder why you're coming back with a topic possibly many years after

And I know of a couple of friends that have lost loved ones of late, that have experienced the same what you are speaking about and friends that also have never trying to get over someone that they've lost. That doesn't work that way. We love the people that we do, even if they're not here anymore. And I think you have all the right to miss them
