Hello. My name is Jdola. I am a hairdresser. I have worked on Fairfax and Melrose in Hollywood for more than 25 years. I cut color style hair. I am responsible for keeping people looking good, current and inspired. But I feel my real job is listening, making people feel comfortable and heard. A great byproduct of this is that I have had these amazing talks with the most interesting people for about 45 minutes a day, all day

Because I also feel like there's a certain vulnerability when it comes to sitting in a chair and letting somebody touch your head, your hair, I don't know, a certain intimacy that you don't get in really any other sector or industry. It. Hey, Jay, I love your attitude, outlook, and profession. I think that with your understanding and appreciation for the small things, it's definitely kept you in a state of joy and enjoyment over the years as you've been doing this job. I could not imagine doing one job for 25 years, so I definitely respect anybody who's found a way to kind of in it and enjoy it as they do. So hats off to you. Thanks for being an inspiration
