My Parents Took Me To See JAWS!

So if you're listening to my voice and you're a parent, give yourself a break. Congratulations. You're in the Imperfect Parent Club, where all the members consistently screw up. However, we may be imperfect, but that's not a license to be passive and sloppy. Real quick, let's go over four important facts for imperfect parents. Here we go. Number one. We're not perfect, but we must be present. Put that phone down. Put it down

I think I watched that at a friend's house at a sleepover. Too young, and it scared me a lot. But I also really appreciate all your messages for parents. I'm not a parent myself, but I really appreciate what my parents did, looking back, because they did a lot of the things that you suggested. And the one big one was, like, having dinners and meals together and no TV. Like, I remember that was our Sunday tradition

That's horrifying. Hey, wait a second, though. My wife was taken to see The Exorcist at a drive in movie theater. Those old drive in screens were 100ft wide, and that's a lot of demonic activity to subject a little kid to. I don't think she slept for a month, so that's scary stuff right there. But anyways, my goal on Swell is to laugh and lift up, and hopefully all of us learn a little something in the process

But mothers who are in co parenting situations and there are frequently throughout the week post about feeling like a failure as a parent or wishing to get past a certain stage because there's things that that mother wants to do and enjoy. However, they have small children and they got to find a sitter or they're new in the state and they don't know anyone, they're not near family. And who can they trust? Can they trust those drop in daycare services?

We were watching it when I was a teenager with a friend of mine. It was MTV late Friday night, and all of a sudden, right in the middle of that thing, when Michael Jackson morphed into that zombie, no lie two tomcats got in a fight right outside of our window. My heart stopped and my legs froze. I couldn't do anything. I just sat there. I couldn't breathe. That's the most horrifying sound on top of watching those zombies do all that
