Seeing without thinking

article image placeholderUploaded by @Jasem
Good morning, swell creators and listeners. Thank you again for creating this platform for everyone to share. Today I'm going to be reading about seeing without thinking, which is something I practice daily throughout my artwork. And trying to practice and improving by actually doing, finding things to look at without thinking about what they are. Today's object is a tree. Fills a space in front of me. Narrow and tall. Brown, rough bark. Catches some light on its bark, on its leaves

The entire art process invilves daily chores, observations, and consitent awareness, practice.

Seeing without thinking. I'm going to incorporate it in other stuff. I feel like I don't do that in writing. And just hearing your swell makes me realize that I would really like to try that. So yeah. Thank you. Thank you for sharing this. Yeah, thanks

@rocio

Up until recently, I've noticed that even what I'm choosing to look at might have some bias in it. So that's another hurdle I'm working on now, how we even choose what to look at and how to describe it accurately without any judgment. Thanks for your response, and I'm glad that it's the words getting out there. And good luck with your work
