Hey! Im new here and excited to introduce you to how we made an extra 60k in 2023 out of necessity.
I have a really great audience over on some of the other social media platforms, but I've never had an opportunity to talk about something that I'm actually quite passionate about. And that's really how easy it is to start a business with nothing. And just to give you some context, my husband and I opened three businesses in 2023. That's correct, three. Random, right? That's a random number. And really, it was out of necessity to be very transparent with you
My advice, if you start a business or if you want to live your life, is what I think is that you got things that you have to buy. You got food, you got your rent, you got everything. But if you're buying extra shit, it better make you really happy or it better make you money. Don't try to buy things that can make a buck or they retain value and you can sell them later if you get in the pinch. That's my only advice

A lot of people don't even have that. I would take that experience and try to apply it to something else. As I said, you can be creative now with the power of social media and the connections that we have on the Internet, on this platform, there are different ways that you can do this. And you certainly don't need to be a serial entrepreneur. I don't consider myself one. We just opened our businesses separately as a necessity because they were all very different

If not, I think that social media management isn't like the end all, be all, but it's definitely a business. I'm trying to scale up and out and then put my efforts into something else, probably an ad agency, and then do ads for other businesses. Because if you're not learning a digital skill in modern times, then you're really missing the ball. I mean, there's a lot of other things that you can do
It's just like, if you go to my instagram, you can see my work, like, taking pictures, shitty pictures, and they're turning into wonderful things. And it's just I've been practicing being not like a camera operator, but a cinematographer for ten years. And, you know, because you've been in this game, you probably, like, it's so wide, the different paths that we could take in the film and television industry. I'm sure you do

All right, I've been on this platform for, like, two days, and you guys are making it super exciting for me. So thank you for jumping into the conversation. I really appreciate you, and I appreciate your authenticity and your willingness to share. I recognize that's not always easy. I just want to recognize the skill and the talent that you guys both have
And I'm seeing a return on my investment of writing about music and talking to actual living musicians who are actually living legends. So, yeah, we'll see how it goes
