A Time I had a Narrow Escape: Always Felt Like Prey

And he told me that if I came with him, he'd give me one. Well, among other things, I hated getting in trouble, so I wasn't going to go anywhere without asking my dad if it was my stepdad, if it was okay. So I went and asked him and he said no, and you should probably stay away from that man. And I said okay, which I totally didn't get because I believed that a giant pearl like that would make us rich

But also, I feel like maybe there's a little intuition at play, just a little 6th sense that can look out for us sometimes. But yeah, really scary. I am glad that you escaped that. That's horrifying

@rocio

You. I had many experiences that were predatory that I didn't acknowledge at the time. Starting my first memory of one was when I was five or six years old. And I don't think that my intuition ever played a part in it until something that happened to me when I was twelve years old. And I'll tell that story too, but I appreciate your comment and I agree that there is definitely an intuition and that's why I said that I always felt like prey
