Learning styles, memory, spectrum issues.

You. I've never done one of those paid personality tests or learning styles tests, or there are a bunch of other little online tests that you can take, and then you pay for it and you get someone a breakdown of it. Some of them even have a personal person that you can talk to, their whole classes. You know what I'm talking about? I can't even remember the name of any of them, so I hope you know what I'm talking about

This is a slight nuance here, but I've read that trauma can have an impact on memory, and so trauma can almost erase memory. You may not remember childhood experiences and so on. And while I think that that might apply across the board, I think what a neurotypical might see as traumatic versus the nervous system and neurowiring of someone who's neurodivergent is going to be very different. And so what my nervous system found as traumatic is radically different from what a neurotypical

I'm thinking a gazillion different things between their words, let alone their sentences. But if you allow me to be able to speed it up, either an audiobook or recording, then I can listen and comprehend it and then I can learn that way. It's weird because it's not consistent. Some days it'll have to be slower and some days it'll have to be faster. And I don't even know if it's some days or if it's some topics

Or the things I have to do before I sit down to work, such as clean up and tidy my area, make sure there's nothing on the floor, move things away from my desk so that certain things are done so they don't nag at me every time I stop or take a moment to be done. And I figured that out. I figured that I need to have my space tidy, that I will work better

I'm looking forward to those other topics. For whatever it's worth, you could still take any sort of generic learning styles test. I mean, I haven't looked for one or come across one by happenstance, but just because it might fit more particularly for neurotypical minds, doesn't necessarily mean there won't be any value there. Right? So maybe there's still something there that could help in what you're looking for
