Year round allergies and pre pandemic you wouldn't have said a thing though you'd still have looked at me as if disgust was written all over my puffed up face why can't it be how it used to be? That's a fantasy in saying we surely don't mean? What was great before can be no more. I know. We need to slither out of our old skins, look within and let it resonate out
As a people, as human beings, as a world, we need to evolve and to not stay in the shadows of the past, but learn from them. So thank you so much for inviting me. I appreciate you more than you could possibly know. This piece was so well written and so beautiful and so profound and I am just so grateful that so many ears will get to hear it here on this platform

And that's definitely what it's about, because as long as we're thinking about the eye, there's like a selfishness, a self centeredness that keeps us away from each other, that sets up a partition or a wall between us, between self and the other person to the point where there is no us. There's only the eye over here and the eye over there. So I like how you express that in terms of the eye turning to a we, then turning to an us

Go to work, hear somebody crying because of the relationship she's in or whatever, and, like, I'm taking it, and it it hurts me. Hear stories of how s*** is so f***** up everywhere you look, and it hurts me. And I have to intentionally remove that energy with a set intention down the drain, into the sink, out the open window
So we were trying to teach a five year old how to log in, use a laptop type and go to school on a laptop for her first year of school. And at that time too, we were in Chicago where COVID was very prevalent and heavy, and there would be times where somebody would have it once they did start kids going back to school
It is acknowledging what was happening and how I was feeling, but also knowing that there is moving past this and there is moving forward. So I'm grateful for your words. I'm grateful that you listen. And like I said, that it resonated that you found this piece to be powerful. I am so grateful for the feedback and that you took a listen. I really appreciate it. Thank you so much
And while that sounds crappy, the good thing is it put me on the right path to being able to create the peace that I was seeking and in creating it, being able to potentially give some of that to others. And that is healing for everybody. So, yes, I love the way that you interpret it and I really appreciate the message. I will continue on with what I am doing because I don't feel like I have a choice. And that's not by force

And not just to put their message out on here, but to connect with others like us. Because how many do you come across in your space physically, that you can be this open and raw with, that have had some of the same experiences as you, that understand completely where you're coming from? Completely without question. And I believe that it's a space that we were guided to feed off of each other. Right? Because as impasse, what do we do?

And it empowered me on so many different levels. Just the way that you read it, you recited, it was like perfection. I saw every bit of the poem. Even when talking about, yes, Karen washed my hands. That was funny. It's like I felt watched with you. I felt the scrutiny of that person. Looking at you to see what you did. Did you wash your hands?
