Let us begin this talk by asking Rachna herself to explain her journey in her own words. Rachna, when and why did you decide to go into the field of human resource development and counseling? Also, do share with us the journey of setting up unbound with RA

And that's how my journey with hypnotherapy regression therapy followed by family constellation and art space therapy began. Of course, I studied all of these much later in my life, though I did have a background of human resources. But all of this just added to my knowledge and understanding about us in our mind. And I think counseling just nailed it

RA is an Egyptian sun god, and RA also stands for the initials of Rachanna and her partner. So this is obviously a very personal venture for Rachanna. So I'll be glad if you could talk about the journey of setting up Unbound with RA as well. Thank you

And somewhere Anita, my partner and I felt the need to share what we have learned. She's a very very dear colleague and my best buddy actually. And Anita of course is in the same line of work as I and we just decided that it would be really nice if we could bring all of these modalities to more and more people like create more awareness and more hands because in the field of mental health, as many hands are there is really nice

You. Thank you for talking about the journey of unbound with Rachanna. The name is indeed meaningful and very unique, and you have done amazing work with it so far. Now, you mentioned special alternate therapies like family constellations and chakra healing. And moreover, you also specialize in regression therapy, art, space therapy, even hypnotherapy and so on. So could you please explain these therapies in simple language?

@inikachoudhary

We can use art as in colors, drawings, music through dance or drama, body maps, various other things. So through the act of creating and interpreting art, we as therapists can or even the individuals actually gain an insight into their own thoughts and feelings and they can explore unresolved issues

Improve self awareness and also develop scoping skills. Now, coming to family constellation so inika this is one of the most magical modalities I've ever experienced. And I'd like to talk a little about this, not only as a therapy, but also the process of the therapy. So we all know, like, you know, how we just take it for granted that we have a family, a mother, a father and siblings, grandparents, et cetera

Thanks a lot for this patient and insightful explanation. Rachanna. I've studied psychology in school myself, but most of these were really new for me. So thank you on a personal note as well. Now, my next question is that therapy is generally considered only for those who are experiencing any sort of mental anguish. Do you think it should also be considered as a basic necessity of human beings, just like medicine is considered for our physical sickness?

That's a great question inika. So to me it is not about taking medication. I mean you take medication when you have a problem but you exercise or you take vitamins through food or otherwise because you want to keep yourself healthy. And I see a lot of us focus on keeping the body healthy these days. I don't have to tell you that the mind does wonders to the body and vice versa

You. Thank you for that answer. Ratshna the way you mentioned alternatives to not only therapy but then also exercising and then taking care of your mental health journaling, recording or talking to other people, I'm sure a lot of the people who are listening to you today, their perspectives will be changed. Definitely. Now, my next question is relating to your work and education life. You've had ample experience in your field and you have helped people of all ages and from all walks of life

One. Yeah. So I guess everybody has experiences in their life from that impact them when they grow up or in their growing up years. And likewise for me also in my professional and my educational life, I have had experiences and some of them have stayed with me

".. how students could deal with stress, anxiety and depression.."

Hello Rachna. This is Daman here. I would really be glad if you could throw some light on how students could use art and music therapies to deal with stress, anxiety and depression. Also, what would be some most efficient and methods to help when one is suffering from depression? As a student, I have personally experienced stress during my examinations. I have been anxious and felt freaked out

Like you could take crayons, you could take watercolor, you could take poster color, whatever you're comfortable with, and take a few sheets of paper and just straight away with the paint, with the color, just draw on it and color it. Okay, whatever. If you feel like your strokes are coming different, don't try and change them like how we've been taught in school. Allow yourself, just completely allow yourself

You. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us, Rajna. At the end of the day, it's not really just about the experience, but also what we take away from it. And thank you for sharing that, too. Now, my last question before we end this conversation is what, according to you, are some essential qualities in people who want to delve into the field of therapeutic procedures and psychological counseling in their future

@inikachoudhary

And as soon as we create a formula, it's like giving a broad spectrum drug and it will work, but it may not be effective. So for me, it is all about somebody who can introspect and say also that how human beings are different. Each human being is unique and different. And therefore, every time we work with a client as therapists, honestly, we learn and evolve too. And every time we work with a person, it is a completely new experience
