I've had the experience of training more than 1000 people till now in different departments and different work backgrounds. There were kids as well and that's the best part because I love interacting with kids

Now, my next question to you, Brenda, will be that people are generally unable to talk about their past, especially when it hasn't been very kind to them. What gave you the strength to be vocal about your past and not shy away from a taboo topic like domestic violence?

And I'll always be vocal, just knowing that if what I can do can impact people, if it can help people, I would always be ready to do that. So if I'm breaking the stereotypes, I'm sure that so many more women are breaking them too. And together we can definitely create a huge impact. And this taboo is no longer considered to be a taboo. To be honest, nowadays people don't see divorce as a taboo

What will be your advice to young listeners who are here with us today, who want to break a deteriorating pattern and change their lives for the better?

@inikachoudhary

It is slowly dissolving because we see the younger generations actually raising a voice and they are doing good for themselves, and they exactly know what they want to do with their life. And even if they make a mistake, they don't regret it. They learn from it. And they voice out saying, yes, this was my decision. I've failed. It's okay. I will start working again. And I think that's what matters

Thank you so much, brenda, for putting this out there. Society should not be the one to subjugate or bind us. It should rather be the one to empower us. And so, in essence, what you said truly embodies. The saying is it's not lokiyakahinge. It should be logunka kamhekana now moving forward, coming to your area of work. Soft skills are an essential part of one's personality if they want to survive in today's work culture

These are actually soft skills such as teamwork, emotional intelligence, leadership, flexibility, adaptability and so on. Now, technical skills are something that even if you miss out a little, you can still be trained by the company. But companies are not going to train you on soft skills

A very warm good evening, ma'am. I am Mayuri. Currently, I am pursuing law. So my question is that how to come out of this peer pressure, ma'am? So basically, as I already mentioned, I am a student

Hi Mayuri. Good evening. I hope you are doing well and it's great to know that you're doing law, which is a fabulous profession. I absolutely admire, you know, lawyers and advocates. So now talking about peer pressure, see that word itself tells that you are taking that pressure, right? Nobody else is inducing that into you. Now if you stop taking that pressure, think are going to change for you

Hi Vrinda. So, being a corporate trainer yourself, you have a very informed perspective on the corporate world. So today I came across as well where a swell caster mentioned that how in the corporate world, a lot of times women are judged and questioned in the wrong way. Statements like she's too much are used for women

@Aishani

Even they go through a lot of struggles because many a time women are given edge over men in many scenarios, right? So again, there are two perspectives. Now, if I have to be women centered and if it's a very women centric question, of course I'd love to answer. So now people all over the world, they had a dream that we have to tear all the boundaries, destroy all the inequalities in the society and establish an equal and justly community. Okay?

Thank you for this Vrinda. I'm sure how you've beautifully described each and every advice in detail will be truly insightful to all those who are listening to us today. And I'm sure all those who have listened to this well cast till now are very well aware of the fact that you are a master of public speaking. In essence, if public speaking is an art, you've mastered it

This is what I'm going to answer in case if you do not know, instead of just saying I don't know or getting nervous, you can just tell them that is a really interesting question. I'll check on that and I'll get back to you. Okay

But these days communication skills then EQ emotional quotient is also being talked about. So ma'am, I want to ask you that how important are they? And if institutes like MBA institutes are not teaching these soft skills or in any other profession, how should one build their soft skills?
@vrindagupta02

@kadambarigupta

So these things will actually help you to elevate your soft skills to another level. So this is what I have to tell you. So today, every manager is looking for you to have a good Soft skills in place. So make sure that you start applying. Network with people, build rapport, connect with people, learn from them actively listen, communicate well. And while you communicate, you have to know the purpose of communication, which is very, very important

You. Thank you for speaking about public speaking. Brenda, your guidance and your advice is truly informative. And I loved that you actually acknowledged that jitters are a very common occurrence. They happen with the best of speakers, and there's nothing to worry about them. I believe this will be my last question, and it is that. What will be your advice to others who would want to make a career for themselves in this field of soft skills and corporate training?

Of course you also have to make sure that you're summarizing the learning outcomes by understanding from them like what have they learned through the course. So it's quite a thing. So these are going to be your responsibilities as a trainer that I wanted to enlist. So firstly, you have to identify if this is something that excites you, if this is something that you're passionate about, then you can go ahead to become a trainer. Of course there is a higher earning potential

Good evening. Vrinda as we are talking about the soft skills, my question is about the people who pretend to be the leaders, but technically they are not. So how do you recommend the guide lines for them to have the improvisation in their communication skills so that they would prove themselves to be the good leaders via their improvised communication skills

Hello. Hi. I hope you're doing well. Thank you so much for your question. So, of course, we come across managers and team leads and leaders in general sometimes, who are not great leaders, but then they pretend to be great leaders. So I think the exact way of giving a constructive feedback would be, firstly, you have to think about your tone. It's very, very important that you cannot be very authoritative and assertive at the same time

Hello. Good evening. Vrinda. I wanted to ask you what are the psychological skills that one should possess in order to master their vocational skills? And also in order to interact better? Not just improve their vocational skills, just communicate better. Thank you

@shesalliwannabe

Hey. Hi. Good evening. Thank you so much for your question. So if you are talking about certain psychological skills that will help us in our communication, number one is our mindset. So we cannot have a fixed mindset. We need to have a growth mindset where we accept failures. We're ready to learn and we're ready to challenge every opportunity that comes to our way. That's very important. Number two is you need to have active listening skills

What is your advice to young women who are currently trapped in unhappy marriages, but due to a lack of support system, they are quite often unable to get out of it? How can they then go it and create the kind of system that they need for them to get from those kind of abusive relationships? I would love your insight on this question. Thank you
@vrindagupta02

@pavtr

But then gradually they did understand and now they are seeing around what is happening. So I'm sure at one time or the other they will understand. But it is important to get out because if you continue to be in that toxic environment, it's only going to be very harmful for you. So my idea is you need to confront your parents and tell them and you have to make them understand. If they don't, then you need to take up all step out of it
@tanyasingh27
Tanya Singh
@tanyasingh27 · 2:21
And I also agree the way of your approach towards the rules and societal norms. But do you believe that there should be a balance between the norms as well as the freedom that is given by the society? Like, I am not in a full support of being an orthodox society is a great idea, but do you think that there should be some sort of chains of rules in everybody's life in order to save and secure certain sort of things in one's life?
@vrindagupta02
vrinda gupta
@vrindagupta02 · 2:30

@tanyasingh27

But again, I don't think that this falls into the bracket of societal norms because they keep changing, people keep changing the situation, the environment around us keeps changing, the culture keeps changing. So the sort of rules that we set, I think it should be very independent of ourselves and we should not rely it on any other society because then it is literally like we are surviving based on their terms and conditions, which is not exactly the way I want anyone to lead their life
