Good evening everyone. As promised, I am back again to kickstart our interview with Dr. Mansi Mahajan. I talked a lot about her journey yesterday but without further ado, let us hear it from her. Please tell us a bit about your journey, ma'am. What prompted you to move towards the holistic path of yoga and wellness?

@inikachoudhary

So this was really an organic journey that took place in my life because I was trained as a filmmaker, I did my Masters in Film production, and I came back to India with the hopes of making movies. But life had other plans for me and yoga had always been a part of my life and really allowing that to become the essence of who I was and really responding to that call that perhaps I always had and never did anything about it

Thank you for that very jolly description, Dr. Mansi. We'll now be moving on towards your enterprise that is House of Kapali. How did the idea of such a unique space come into being?

So really, the idea is to create a community of like minded, holistic, wholesome beings that come together in healing, come together in joy and celebration of being alive, really. And the idea, like I said, came also when I came back from Australia to India, and I was looking to do something, and I wanted to pursue yoga. I wanted to create an earth, a nourishing enterprise, and something that also resonated with my heart

Thank you for such a beautiful description of a wonderful place. House of Kapali sounds like a place where one could really rejoice with their mind and body. And I hope all of the listeners, including me, do visit it someday. Since we're talking about wellness and happiness. What is wellness, according to you? In Life's Daily Hustle, how can we aspire to not let go of our health and can prioritize it without losing out on other things as well?

@inikachoudhary

Because there is an urgent need for us to bring our self care, our health, our well being, our wellness to the top of the priority list. Why? Because if you don't fuel yourself, you don't have the energy to fuel anything or anyone around you. It's like I often give this example, right, that do your devices work optimally when they have the least amount of charge? Or do they work and perform at their optimum when they are charged to fullness?

Thank you very much for those wonderful tips, Dr. Mansi. I'm sure inculcating them in our daily lives is not that hard. And once done, they'll just keep on improving our lives. I especially loved the analogy of charging your devices and similarly charging your bodies. In that same way, you've also worked as an entrepreneur. House of Kapali is a living. Bring proof of that. So can you please enumerate some of the challenges that you faced in your entrepreneurial journey?

You. So I believe that in facing challenges that we come across with in life is our greatest glory. The challenges are what carve us, what chisel us into who we are because they induce resilience in us. And for me specifically, and an entrepreneur, the challenges I'd like to share with you. But I want to say that these challenges were not just mine. These challenges are their common ground for any entrepreneur. Well, one of them is multitasking

You've really very intricately outlined all of the issues that an entrepreneur faced, but also the beauty of it. So thank you for that very thoughtfully designed description. Since we're talking about your entrepreneurship, you've aced a career in the yoga and wellness field. So can you tell the listeners a bit about how they can pursue their interests in such a field where awareness us about career opportunities is very minimum?

@inikachoudhary

Coaching is a very large landscape. You can become a wellness coach. You can get certifications in lifestyle coaching, nutrition coaching, fitness, stress management, holistic wellness, the world is your oyster. Therapy and counseling through the psychology route, mindfulness trainings. There's so much of that available, and for me as well, like House of Kapali that was created as a holistic business. So you can create an enterprise that offers wellness as a solution in form of retreats or weekend rejuvenation

That was indeed a very poetic description, Dr. Mansi. The way you not only enumerated all of the career options that can emerge out of yoga and wellness, but also how an individual, on a personal level, needs to imbibe certain attributes in themselves, needs to be more in touch with themselves to go into this field. I really liked that part. We'll now be moving towards the end of this conversation, but before that, I'd like to ask you about your mantra in life

Maintaining the drive to progress while being receptive to the natural course of events, allowing for adjustments and evolution along the way. It's really the art of nurturing yourself to thrive in balance, in purpose and vitality, while adapting to the ever changing rhythms of life. So, like, I always like to say that. It's like imagine there's a storm brewing outside of you, but inside of you, you're this perfection of stillness, of silence and space
