Yes, sometimes before one poem stops roughing me up, I discover there is a whole litter hiding within one phrase that needs to be reckoned with. That needs to be reckoned with. Don't you sometimes feel that every word that you write branches out into a million other poems?

And then I'm left contemplating the sky. And in that sky, these words come to me and they flow through me. And that is where the poetry just flows through. And you make an interesting point that really caught my attention about the logical mind that blocks when I write a poem. Sometimes I feel the whole litter in one sentence. There's a whole litter of poems there too. And then something blocks me and I go, oh, wait, now I got to think through that litter
