Any New Music?
It. Okay. So I used to wonder why older people and when I say older people, I don't mean like 90, I just mean people who get in their fifty s and sixty s and that I used to wonder, why did they stop listening to music, new music? And why did they only identify with their quote unquote generation of music? Like, when did your generation start and stop? Why did you stop listening to new music?
I thought I was going to disagree with you, but the more I think about it, the more I think I'm with you. So I'm 48. My music preferences have not cemented into place. I do know others who are also in the same boat, but I also know people who are younger than me and older than me, where their music preferences definitely locked in in a prior decade. And I don't know entirely why that happens

I'll have to definitely check out the reaper song because I remember the original. I think it's from the 60s or 70s, probably 70s, probably 70s. But yeah, I have to check it out. But yeah, all your points are well taken. You know, this is one of those things you could you could talk about a music person like yourself and like myself could talk about for hours, because there's so many different takes on the issue

It actually made me feel as though I could accomplish, as I began to write more songs, play the guitar and play the piano. Okay, have a good day. Thank you

But again, I don't knock or judge anybody else for not listening to what I listen to. But I just wanted to reach out to you and let you know that you have a gift that keeps on giving. So with that gift, you keep giving and God's going to continue to bless you. My name is Patrick, by the way. Dawn and I will talk to you later. You have a blessed day. Bye
