Smile Direct Club Ends Operations Effective Inmediately

article image placeholderUploaded by @ilovelucee
Like, people's teeth haven't fallen out, because the thing with braces and stuff like that in Orthodontics is that you have to apply a certain amount of pressure. It has to be enough pressure where your teeth move, but not too much where they're moving too fast. And that's been the problem, that with smile direct Club, they've been applying, like, the trays. The invisalign is just moving the teeth too fast

Didn't give any notice or anything that I noticed. So, yeah, this is about to be something. And I'm glad you didn't get swindled along with them. But yeah, thanks for sharing this because I saw it the other day

And they claim that all of this is overseen by orthodontists. Now, here's the thing about that. Everybody's teeth responds differently to treatment. So, yes, ideally, when you get braces or any other type of orthodontic care, ideally they give you a time frame that they project. It will take for your teeth to get to the place that you want them to be. So they'll tell you things like 18 months, 24 months, twelve months, whatever the case may be

To an orthodontist. The orthodontist told them, no, with your issues, you need your teeth pulled. Before we could start any work, they didn't listen. They went to smile direct. Smile direct, of course, told them, oh, yeah, we could fix the problem. And the problem wasn'T fixed. Of course it wasn't, because, like I said, there's a lot that goes into it. So, yeah, I really feel bad for all these people

So I needed traditional orthodontic work, and I'm just glad that I just followed my instincts. And I was like, no. And I guess doing research, too. Ms. Coles touched on this, and she's absolutely right. But I feel like when I did research, I came across this, too. It's similar to how invisalign works. These are for people who have little gaps and stuff like that
