The man would not get out to help with the luggage just after I walked the whole length of the airport to get to the ride. So I said, oh, my goodness. It's a good thing I'm doing this by myself, or else if I was, someone else would have been so frustrated. So that is my trip from Charlotte, North Carolina, to Chicago. In my next session, I'll talk about my month in Chicago and how that went

It's on the central coast of California. It's kind of far from San Diego. It's about 6 hours north, but it's just an incredible place. The weather is amazing. There's Pizza Beach. There's. Morrow beach moro Rock. There's Kyukas. It's just a really cool spot. So hopefully you are able to get out here and sort of explore where I'm from or where I'm going to school. But if not this time, then hopefully in the future
I have totally been in that Uber situation, and it's shocking. Like, a minute later, the price will surge $100 more. Sometimes I'm like, Why? Yeah, this is super cool. And let's see. I've traveled by myself on planes since I was a kid, just between the US. And China, and I remember just really enjoying it. I've always preferred that over traveling with people

But other than that, I think it's really good to love solo travel and kind of explore other places that you haven't been before. But I haven't actually been solar traveling because usually I just go with my family. But this one time I went to my grandma's house in China on the plane, I would sit with my friend and her mom since their grandma also lived in the same place. It was kind of nice
So for me, when I go back to Chicago, I always try to go to the summer months. Now, the last time I was in Chicago was 2018. I went with my brother. I visited my uncle, who lives at the end of Lake Shore Drive. It's like 5700 Sheridan Road, Hollywood. Around that area, you walk right across the street to the beach

Hi. I really enjoyed listening to this swell and the bread. Yes. I do a lot of solo traveling, meaning, like, having to get myself from place to another, but usually wherever I'm going. I like that you said staying with friends and family. Yes. I feel like I'm very resourceful when I travel

Well, I so applaud you for solo traveling. I hope one day when I grow up and get a little bit more mature with traveling, I can maybe do it without calling my dad 24/7. But that sounds super awesome and it sounds like a great time
Everyone is sitting there like, what do you mean our train has been canceled? Well, you guys might have heard of this about the news a couple of weeks ago. At the beginning of the month, the train I was coming from California, which was the Southwest Chief number four derailed in Missouri. So needless to say, four people died, lost their lives. A lot of people were injured and they were taken to the hospital. But that was our train that was going to meet in Chicago
Hi Kyle, thank you for replying to my swell. I have a suggestion, being that you're in college, solo travel for your birthday, you could plan it. It's always a year away. Whenever your birthday is, take a place, pick a country, pick a location and just celebrate your birthday. That way I do it and I've hit all of the cities within the US. Except the south
You meet people. And I think people at Solo Traveler, they meet more people than people that travel in groups. So, like, if you're in this group, you sort of, like, confined to that group. But if you're solo traveling. You're sort of. Like. Forced to go out and meet people. Of course. Being safe. But you have to go out and meet people. Be at the restaurant. Have sit down and talk to people
