Short Update

With the good comes the bad. And I think it's one of those things that we really don't even consider how important they are, our emotions. So for anybody out there who maybe struggling with emotions or even just struggling to bring forth their emotions, I think especially after listening to his narrative about his own journey, it's so important to really rediscover those deep emotional feelings that we have inside of us to really experience humanity in its totality. Our humanity in its totality

And he looked at me dead in the eyes with a twinkle gleaming, and he said he spent too long of his life not allowing himself to feel the emotions of life, and his time of doing that was behind him. And now he was going to vow to continue to feel whatever emotions came up. And I just thought it was so beautiful

And now I've found that having that emotions or like a whole bunch of emotions at any given time is what makes me stronger. That I can take good emotions and bad emotions and process them at the same time and then be able to learn from them and grow. I think that's what we need to sort of start to relearn so we can truly become stronger. Thank you again for sharing your experience

Hey, Shehla, I appreciate any conversations on emotions, so here I am. One thing that your swell brought up for me is with my brother and thinking about him. And you mentioned how it's usually a lot easier for a woman to express emotion, and I definitely agree with this. I think still sometimes there's more to be felt than we're actually fully able to express all the time
