The Book Thief

article image placeholderUploaded by @Husna_writer
Another aspect of the novel that's particularly noteworthy is the way it deals with the complexities of life under the N*** rule. While the novel does not shy away from the brutality and the horror of the regime, it also shows the humanity and compassion that can exist even in the darkest of times. The Hubbins, for example, are not members of the resistance or actively fighting against the Nazis, but they still show kindness and empathy to those around them, even at great risk to themselves

Hey. It was now great review and a great book recommendation for the community to check out. So thank you for this. I am midway through the book. To be honest, I started reading the book a few months back, but I had to pause midway because there were a lot of things happening personally, and I felt the book demanded a lot more of my time

And listening to this. I want to reread this book. Thank you. I'm going to totally reread it because this book has so many layers. It's like the best onion ever. You peel it and you peel it and you peel it and you peel it till you reach the center. And then you start crying because it's a raw onion. Yes. Thank you for this review
