Homosanity here, talking about what's going on in Africa that maybe you've known about, but I did not know this. I have a dear loved one in Nigeria who I speak to, and he was telling me the other day that there was rumors going around where he lives, that some scientists were putting things in the air as an experiment to run on them. And he wondered if that was happening again. And I kind of blew it off. I was like

And then even when that ended and all of these countries gained their freedom, the United States still came in and had a hand in the economies. Anthony Bourdain did a very good episode about Kenya on the last season of his show where he took W. Kamau Bell to Kenya, and they had an experience. But part of that episode was discussion of how goodwill and donations, collecting things and sending them to Kenya has collapsed the textile market there

I'm not sure if it was missionary work or just as a teacher or both, but one of the things I learned from him was that also, China is very heavily moving into Africa, and that really, there's so many people that have left Africa that have died of disease, and they're creating this kind of new silk road. When he was there, he saw chinese officials coming, and they're buying up the ports and striking up these deals for these railroads and lending them the money
