Setting Boundaries at Work

So I immediately realized, a, I am fully employed, so I'm not looking for a new position, but b, if I was, holy moly, would I never talk to someone like her? She seemed to be a micromanager. She definitely seemed to represent a toxic company or department, and she was obviously building a department. The job postings that were available looked exactly like what my employees do now, the people that I manage

Hey, Diana. So wild. Wild of a story. I'm glad you kind of listened to your gut and avoided that toxic conversation, but we also just recognize that you're not in that much of a need and you're feeling good where you are. What a wild story. I don't have anything even close to that, to be honest. But I'm learning how to set boundaries is my own business, so that's exciting. Very fun
