Alcoholics not so Anonymous

I am here to answer questions regarding how to step into the world of sobriety. I am here to help as best as I can. I am not a professional. I am not a counselor. I do not have a degree specializing in addiction. I just have 2ft and a heartbeat and personal experiences through my life over a span of 15 years of alcohol addiction

So I really relate to what you shared about that, and I think that this is a struggle that many people have, and we just don't talk about it. So, again, I appreciate you talking about it on here. I think it's really important, and I really look forward to these conversations. Bye

And I'd go into this phase where I totally dissociate from reality. And I find that during the times that I was sober and I wasn't better yet, like, I was still drinking. But the times that I was sober, within that time frame of still drinking, I realized that I dissociate a lot until I have a drink again. So dissociation is a big part of what became my reality and it was with me through soberness and it was with me through drunkenness
