Mother’s Song

article image placeholderUploaded by @SoulJourney1K
And I also like it because it seems like there's hope in there, as well as just reality that sometimes a child may not return. So, yeah, that was called a mother's song. And, um, if you want to read more poetry, it's in the anthology called The Daughters of Africa, edited by Margaret Busby. All right, you enjoy the rest of your day or evening

Hi. Thank you for sharing this beautiful poem. I have never heard of this anthology, but I'm going to have to check it out. I know I have some friends that would really be interested in this work and I would love to read more of the poetry and the poems. So yeah, I really appreciate you sharing this on here. Very beautiful

Hey, thank you for listening to my swell cast. Thank you so much. Alao the sun. Yeah, it's a great anthology. I remember I started reading it several years ago and of course, I never finished it. I was just reading different short pieces out of of it here and there. Not in order, of course, but yeah, I decided to revisit this year, and it's called Daughters of Africa and Anthology
