If Ellie makes this contact with other life forms, is it the religious community that was right, or is it the other community of scientists who were right? Who's right, who's wrong right? And so I just really love the play of those questions in the movie because that's still where we're at. Even at 2023, you have people who are changing beliefs, they're changing religions. Like a person changes their underwear every day. It's a change of what a person believes

So they're able to kind of put that aside and just admire who they are as human beings. But when they do get into the debate of theism and atheism I think it's very beautiful how they don't force each other to believe what the other one believes but they do present each other challenging and valid questions to the other side. And I think that spoilers to anybody who hasn't seen the movie

They really want you to have a piece of what they experience. And sometimes, and many times, it just remains that their personal experience. But, yeah, thank you for responding to my swell.
