Reflective Listening Can Save a Marriage, says Elaine N. Aron in Her HSP Book💍

article image placeholderThe Highly Sensitive Person: How to Thrive When the World Overwhelms You
And as a reflective listener and as an active listener you would of course let them know that you're listening. Like, okay. And then wait for the person to explain further. So the husband will then say, last winter was one of the worst winters. Okay, so now we're getting a little bit somewhere. And so then the husband will probably say last winter, even though I was with you, I still felt alone

It. I really love your book recommendations and I really do appreciate them. Even your descriptions or explanations of the little bit that you share, it helps me so much. I've done a lot of research, but I have not really read a lot of books or one, like, being highly sensitive. But the books that you have shared, they're definitely some that I'll be checking out. But this particular one, it's really beneficial

But I really love Elaine's book because she has workbooks, of course. But I find that this particular book, it has reflections and exercises already throughout the pages, so it's like a one stop place. And I just love how she talks in the book. It's like she's right there with you, a confidant, if you will. So it's a really great book
