So what she's saying there in a nutshell is when we think of those scientists and doctors who were working on the African Americans or experimenting, we kind of had this picture in our head that they were mad men and that these were scientists that were apathetic to everything or amoral. And conversely, that was not true. Many of these doctors and researchers, they had families, they went to church. So they're not what we think they are
