So I was reading at night using the book light. But anyway, so those are my thoughts overall for all of those books. Like I said, I prefer paperbacks, but I love the elegance of the hardcovers. Ebooks are convenient as far as delivery and when to read it. And audiobooks is very convenient as far as retaining information, in my opinion, and just convenience of being able to do whatever you need to do while listening to a great story

So, yeah, they're coffee table books and I've always wondered when you go to look at a brand new home on Apartment, sometimes there's like two or three hardcover books that's sitting there and I'm like, wow, this goes really great with the home. So I'm glad that I can inspire you to use your books as home decor items. And yes, I love hardcover books, too

I love books. Don't misunderstand me. I wouldn't be a writer for 56 years if I didn't like books. But I don't like clutter anymore in my life, and I just can't stand it. And books become clutter after a while, and you and these other people will find that out in due time. Um but anyway, I hope that answers your question, at least from my perspective. I know you'll have different views

I just know that a couple of books, probably ones that I'm not reading or ones that have stunning photographs in it, that guests like to read, I'm thinking about placing like one or two of those on the table that matches the decor, but it's definitely optional. A lot of people do it and a lot of people don't do it. And as far as clutter, I've already experienced that

You're. Hey, Jen Mooney. Thank you for responding. And yeah, I'm pretty much the same way. I love that I can download books easily right to my Kindle device. I also have the Kindle app. In fact, I just bought a couple of books for the Kindle. It's so much easier to read in a way, and highlight, and I don't have to buy extra highlighters, so I definitely love the Kindle for that reason

Because if I ever wanted to remember something from a paperback book, I would never physically annotate the book or physically highlight it. I would get little postits that are removable so the book itself is not being written on. And with the Kindle, I can highlight all I want and bookmark as many quotes as I want. Like right now I'm reading a poetry book so I can bookmark my favorite poems and highlight my favorite quotes. And I never thought about the hardcover books being decorations
Just because we spend so much time on our phones these days, and I get that same feeling, kind of swiping through the Kindle pages. It's not to say it's a bad product, I do enjoy it when I am on it, but something just about having a regular old book in front of you is nice. And then ebooks are good too

I've been through that myself, where I was told at one of my jobs, retail job, many, many moons ago, that, oh yeah, you can't read. And I'm like, it's just a recipe book. I was working in a grocery store at the time and we had a very slow night, I mean, a really slow night

But I do love physical books. And yes, I do still love the feel of the books. I love the smell of books. And right now I have a growing manga collection. And mangas are very beautiful. They have the beautiful binding, very colorful, so it looks really good when you set it up a certain way in your home
