I just really loved the drawings that was in the book and the idea of the book. But I didn't know until I got older that the author and illustrator Maurice Sendak, it seems like he wanted to make a statement about childhood anger. And after doing some research on why he wrote the book and what inspired him, I learned that it's just a lot deeper than I thought
