SHADOW Work Peels Back Layers—So Be Careful + Should Believers Engage In This Work?♥️

So now, having said that, is this something Christians should engage in? Because when I did research on this, there are a lot of Christians who said dealing with anything, dealing with the shadow is not Christlike right because of dealing with shadows. But I think they're mistaking a shadow for evil. Shadow work simply means that you're peeling back the layers of your past so that you can become a better whole self

We can't just leave things buried in the sand with our head in the sand and say, oh, I don't want to deal with this, that and the other, because that's going to make me uncomfortable, it's going to make me cry, it's going to make me hurt. Until God's love and light comes in and brings healing and seals it over with amending of his truth and in Him we can rest and thanks

With everything you said, I have nothing further to add to it. You said it all right there. So I just purchased your book. I believe it's vessels of honor. So I just want to thank you for your writings and your poetry. I'm excited that I did purchase it, so I added it to my to be read list. So I'm hoping to get to it soon enough

I don't know how I even came across him. I don't know if it was Facebook or Instagram, and he had healing frequencies. And I downloaded the download. It was like I don't know if it was an hour long. I couldn't even remember now. It was a few years back, but I would listen to it. I have it play at work kind of while I was working. And sometimes I play it at night before I went to sleep

And I question if they've really done the work to peel back the layers to figure out if they claim that Jesus healed them, why are these issues still popping up? Or at least why aren't they being managed in healthy ways? And so it's like, okay, I got my religion, I put the Band Aid on, and now let me terrorize people without realizing I'm terrorizing people

The traumatized areas of your life that are unhealed, those areas have been kept hidden from you because of the enemy, because of Satan. They're not being hidden from you because of God. God doesn't hide things from us. He hides things for us. And so therefore, if these dark areas of your life are being hidden from you, it's because Satan wants you to be deceived

And as someone who teaches and knows the word of God as well, I need to dive even more back into the word of God. I see why it's trending. As I said before, we have a lot of people who have a lot of hurt, and some of them don't even trust therapists anymore, and they want to just do the work themselves. Whatever they feel that needs to be healed and they need to peel it back. I just urge caution

Hey, Tanya. Also, I would like to say that I appreciate you being the reminder about the Holy Spirit and such. I never forgot about that with this self love thing that's going on. I think when the word talks about people will be lovers of themselves and selfishness, I think that's one thing. But then you have people who are used to rejection and they don't take care of themselves. And so we do have a world that's full of hatefulness along with self hate
