Diabetic Journal—Part2: The Agony of It All, I’m TIRED!

article image placeholderUploaded by @BunBunsBookPick
I hate to admit that out loud but I just can't keep managing this on my own and messing up. I do have some regular glucose strips that are thankfully on the way so I'll definitely compare the two again but I just think that I'm not managing it well. So for those of you who are dealing with chronic illnesses or diabetes, talk back to me. Let me know your thoughts. I'll be back with more swells. Bye

It. Let me know what you need help with. My sister. She is a bad diabetic girl and she has to take medicine. My grandma was a bad diabetic. I had to give her shots. I mean, I don't know. I've helped a lot of diabetic people. And my son's girlfriend is trying to be a nurse. She knows a lot out about it too. So let me know and I'll ask her and I'll get back with you. Bye

Hi, Missy. Thank you for your response and for listening. Yeah, I thought, I've been doing so well. I've been listening to different people and also different nurses reading different books, going online. And so it seems like at some point you just want to live and be like everyone else. Most like. I enjoyed sitting in front of Netflix and eating a couple of cupcakes. They were the tiny ones with my husband last week

Have you taken? Yeah, I think it's all, like, in managing it. But my. I have a friend that's a nurse, and she should know, and I will ask her anything you need to know and see what she says. But according to them, it's all in managing it. Like not eating a whole cupcake, maybe just eating partial of it or something like that. Because my sister, she loves sweets. I love sweets, too

You. And I completely understand. And I get where you're coming from. For God's sakes, we all got to enjoy a little bit of life. I mean, what is life if we're not enjoying just a little piece of it?

And I know we're supposed to view food as fuel, but again, it's tied to our life. And like you said, what is life if we're standing back away from it? The worst thing is to be at a gathering, at a party and you have to sit there with water and can't even eat fruit that they have because fruits spike sugars as well. Unless you eat an unripened banana. But who wants to eat an unripened banana? But, yeah

It. Oh, baby. You're very, very welcome, honey. I have kidney stones. I have. I've got vertebrae in my neck that's messed up, and they're causing compression on my spine. So sometimes I walk with a cripple, but I'm okay. And yes, I have kidney stones, so I have to watch what I eat that, too. And drink. So I completely understand. And on top of that, I have low sugar

There are certain times where our mind come off of it, and then there are times where our minds just stay on it, and it just can't be helped. It's the fragility of the human body, really. It really is. But, yeah. I love this conversation, nation, and I appreciate it
