Poem—"After Midnight"

article image placeholderUploaded by @SoulJourney1K
After midnight. I'm catching hands after midnight. Spring stole time from my fingers, therefore I must fight, fight for my right to write in darkness where I lift dialogue and erect verbs onto white spaces. Burning the midnight oil after one yawning scribing afraid of the sun for when she wakes my pen slows down and the worlds of my mind dissolve into hands after midnight. Hi, this is Erica Souljourney one k. And you were just listening to a poem that I wrote on Poetizer, the app

I love the poem very much. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts, and thanks for the recommendation about Poetizer. I'd never actually heard of it and I'm going to look into it. I love to write poems as well, so it's always good to have new platforms, new ways of expression, and new communities to connect with. I look forward to hearing more of your thoughts and your works in the future for sure, but I'll be looking forward to the article as well
