I am a survivor of domestic violence

When I looked at the images of victims on TV, they didn’t resemble the person I saw in the mirror. It was a painful realization, but it was also the moment when I took the first step towards healing.  I acknowledged that I allowed myself to be a victim of domestic violence, not because I was weak, but because I had the strength to face my truth.  The real work started from within. It was about rebuilding my self-worth, finding my voice, and rediscovering my power.  Today, I stand here as a survivor, not defined by my past but empowered by my journey. My hope is that by sharing my story, I can inspire others to take that courageous step towards their own transformation.  Let’s remember that we are all capable of change and growth.
