We’re Moving On Up To The Deluxe Apartment…

article image placeholderUploaded by @Her_Sisu
Tomorrow night is my last night of having to do this. Just muscle through Jl. Muscle through Jl. But inside, I'm like, I silently want to go get a hotel. And I don't know. I don't know, y'all. But all I could think about was the Jeffersons and went on up to the east side, to the deluxe apartment in the sky high. Not for me. Not for me

Thankfully, where I live, although the walls are somewhat thin, it's an older building, and there are no kids, and I haven't heard that in a number of years. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but, yeah, I think it's mostly because there's a lot of single people in the building. I will say that for a variety of reasons, I make great use of my noise canceling headphones that I am wearing right this minute

Jl, girl, you tickle me. You like too much noise. Girl, I know what you're saying. I mean, I was born and raised in Chicago. It's always noise. So then when you move somewhere that's kind of quiet. I moved all the way to Kentucky. And, girl, you could hear a mouse piss on cotton. You really could. And I was like, this is. Is crazy that I don't hear nothing. Like, nothing

Hopefully you have a clear schedule so you can sleep. But this actually, like I said, just helped me because I'm like, yeah, I can't go back to that. I'll do what I got to do to make sure I can pay for the house, because people above me making noise, I don't like to smell other people's food. That's a really big deal to me, too. Walking down the hallway and I'm smelling someone else's food

Thank you so much, christina, for chiming in and understanding my dry sense of humor. Girl, let me tell you. Oh, my gosh. My body is so tired. I'm going to I said I'm gonna listen to as many skulls as I can and respond to as many as I can. And that's been my tactic

In the words of Kevin Hart, laugh at my pain, Evelyn. Laugh at my pain. Thank you for appreciating the humor of it all. Like I said to Christina, I'm grateful. I really am. And I am ready to go back into my own space. I really am. I listen, I am so ready. I am so ready. I'm grateful and I'm ready. I'm grateful and I'm ready all at the same time. Yes

It's going, going to be fine. So I have not lived in an apartment, probably since I was married to my son's father, which is decades ago or a decade ago. My son is only 14. And after that, we rented townhomes. Well, we bought a house, but before that, and then after that house, we sold it in New Jersey. Both relocated to North Carolina, and it's just been renting townhomes since

Um, but what you mentioned, it's something that I do think about, because I remember I moved into a noisy apartment, and I remember thinking, like, you need to view apartments. You can't go early in the morning. You need to review apartments in the evening, like 08:00 when things are really popping off and you know how much potential noise there might be in the building. But I know leasing agents aren't about that life

I believe the latest time I've seen is 07:00 p.m. And still that's a good time for them to see for a neighborhood weekday evening and weekend evening. If there's some riff raft or what's the flavor and culture of that environment? Because during the weekday business hours, people are working, even if they work from home, it's pretty quiet, right? So I like the idea of apartment complexes

Especially if you're buying something, a condo or townhouse or something like that? But I really enjoyed the way you broke that down and shared that and the emotions and the feelings and stuff that you shared. It was just very entertaining, and I thank you and just wanted to speak up and let you know that I'm watching, I'm listening, and giving my little input just to keep the swell flowing. All right, then. You take care. Bye
