GOOD OR BAD? Impulsively changing your hair #beautybyheidi #hair

Now I'm grateful I got it out of my system, and perhaps I can resist the urge to change my hair for another five years. But, hey, live and learn, right? So share your tea with me. Have you ever changed your hair and instantly you regretted it?

Next time I’ll just cut it! KIDDING! 😂 #hair #beauty #advice

It. I have only done this once. And what happened is I was intending to kind of just cover up my gray hair with something that was pretty much close to my natural color. And apparently I was either paying attention or the color looked a little different. I don't know. But I ended up with a incredibly dark color. It was, like, almost black. And I was like, oh, gosh, no, this is not what I wanted

@Nomad4EVER it happens to the best of us!

Or color off, I don't remember. But I used to use it all the time to strip my hair when I was changing the colors. But I'm so glad that you have a hair color that you love right now. I like the photo that you shared. And the raspberry sounds so cute. What a fun color. I had a very pink raspberry moment for a long time since this story. I actually dyed my hair back to brown, though

And so I let my hair grow out for about maybe six months, and then I just chopped it all off. So, yeah, I don't think I want to go through that again. So, I don't know. I'll do the transition to Gray. I don't know. Worth looking into, I suppose. Anyway, thanks for your response. Bye

When I had clients, and both ways you're talking about are most of the time, how people went gray, they would either completely chop it off or they have to do a couple sessions of highlighting and low lighting, basically stripping the hair, getting it all the way as white as possible, toning it to silver, and then adding some darker low lights. S. Either way, they're both really big changes. And when you decide to do that, I think it will be so much fun

Maybe there'll become a day when I decide that I'm like, okay, yeah, I'm just going to go full on gray, but I don't know when that will be or if ever. But we'll see. You never know what tomorrow will bring. So, anyway, thanks for your response. I really appreciate it. Bye

@heidi

Good morning. Thank you for the advice. I just went through a color change when I was in Georgia a couple weeks ago. My son helped me out. I usually color my own hair, and my late husband had got me to go blonde. He said if I went blonde, that it would keep me from having to color my hair so much because the gray wouldn't show us as quickly. So he was right
